Our pre-season set the stage for this success. Three friendly matches tested our skills a month before the season started, but a hard-fought goalless draw against St. George’s U-17 showed we needed to work on our finishing chances. The team listened, trained harder, and entered the league sharper than ever. Against Droga, we controlled the game with confident midfield play, sharp attacking moves, and a defence that held firm even after conceding a goal.  

But our second match was even better. A 0-4 win against St.Kirkos wasn’t just a score line, it was a show of total control. The defence stayed solid, the midfield moved the ball flawlessly, and the attackers scored with ease. Three different players found the net, silencing doubts about our ability to finish chances after the St. George’s friendly.  

The growing fans seem excited, and for good reason. The coach’s smart strategies mixing strong defence with creative attack are working perfectly, while rotating the squad. The team’s hard work in training is clear on the field, where every player knows their role and supports each other.  

Two games, seven goals, one goal conceded, Kagnew isn’t just winning; we are redefining dominance. With momentum soaring and confidence unshakable, this ambitious squad is poised to turn early promise into sustained glory. The season is young, but Kagnew FC’s statement is loud: putting them on the spotlight.
